Episode Overview

Lennox finds himself helping Webb and Holmes with a drug operation, but his focus shifts after reconnecting with an old acquaintance from the Scottish parliament, leading him to investigate a potential blackmail scheme. When a suspect from the drug bust escapes, Meadows and Webb are infuriated. However, Lennox justifies his actions to Meadows by citing his friend's involvement, causing frustration among his teammates. Surprisingly, Meadows backs Lennox's pursuit of the detective agency linked to the blackmail, much to Webb's annoyance. To assist with the operation, Lennox recruits Hagen for undercover work.
