Episode Overview
Stanton is eager to be freed from the Beech case because of her feelings for Boulton, but Hodges reassures her that she's performing well. Boulton accepts a complimentary night at a luxurious hotel in the Docklands and invites Stanton to join him. Just as they settle in for a night of indulgence, chaos erupts when an assault and robbery occur, leading Sun Hill officers to the scene and ruining their plans. The following day, CID looks into the theft of a laptop, and Beech becomes curious about a "mystery blonde" seen fleeing the hotel. Fearing that Beech might uncover their secret, Boulton and Stanton send him on a wild goose chase across London while they work to resolve the case themselves.
