Episode Overview
D.C. Mike Dashwood sets up a five-a-side indoor football match against a local youth group, viewing it as a fantastic opportunity for publicity. Ch. Supt. Brownlow enlists D.I. Roy Galloway for photo ops despite his reluctance. Meanwhile, D.S. Ted Roach looks into the murder of a homeless man known as 'King Henry.' P.C. Jim Carver injures his ankle while pursuing some bag-snatchers, prompting Sgt. Cryer to step in for him on patrol. Dashwood doubts Cryer’s suitability for the team due to his age, but P.C. Abe Lyttleton suggests W.P.C. Viv Martella, who is skilled at netball. Dashwood manages to recruit her, impressing Brownlow. P.C. Pete Muswell arrests an unlicensed vendor selling counterfeit watches at the market and tries to impress a traffic warden, only to be stood up for their date. At the match, Cryer addresses
