Episode Overview
An escaped convict is set to meet his girlfriend in Sun Hill, prompting a major operation to apprehend him. Meanwhile, a restless relief crew lounges in the canteen with P.T.17, where P.C. Ramsey suggests they play cards to kill time. In a van, Sgt. Peters and D.C. Carver are on standby; while Peters steps away for a moment, Carver seizes the chance to apprehend a boy vandalizing cars. D.C. Dashwood and W.P.C. Ackland wait in a dance school, taking turns dancing with a student. Dashwood's partner's jealous husband bursts in, attacking them and grabbing Mike's unloaded gun. Ch. Insp. Conway nearly jeopardizes the operation by breaking radio silence due to impatience, but his call provides the distraction Dashwood needs to gain the upper hand against her attacker.
