P.C. Ramsey hears strange sounds coming from a rubbish chute and discovers a newborn baby, which he quickly rushes to the hospital. Meanwhile, in the CAD room, P.C. Haynes and W.P.C. Brind engage in a heated debate about why anyone would abandon an infant. P.C. Edwards and P.C. Melvin investigate a theft at a church, and Edwards is taken aback when Melvin reveals he’s a born-again Christian. D.C. Dashwood finds the stolen church items in an antique shop, leading Sgt. Peters and D.C. to apprehend the thieves at another church. Additionally, Edwards and Melvin confront a woman retrieving her belongings from her ex-husband's home.
