Episode Overview

During their lunch break, P.C. Edwards and W.P.C. Ackland caution a man about flying his model helicopter too close to the road. Their attention soon shifts to a foul odor emanating from a nearby property, leading them to a shed packed with the remains of battery hens. The stench makes Edwards feel ill, prompting him to suggest reporting the situation to the RSPCA. Just as they prepare to leave, the disturbed owner of the shed, armed with a shotgun, takes them hostage. Meanwhile, Sgt. Peters searches for them after handling an incident involving the crashing helicopter. He, along with P.C. Stamp and P.C. Melvin, takes cover as the man opens fire, but they manage to subdue and arrest him.
