Episode Overview
W.P.C. Brind is summoned to the home of Mrs. Lomax, an elderly woman who has just been robbed. Overcome with shock, she lashes out at Brind and subsequently suffers a heart attack, leading to her death. With a series of burglaries targeting seniors from the Salisbury Day Centre, Brind and Insp. Frazer visit to discuss crime prevention. Meanwhile, D.C. Dashwood interviews past victims and identifies a potential suspect: Terry Newton, a young man doing community service at the centre. When Terry's probation officer proves unhelpful, Dashwood remains convinced of his guilt. Terry then reveals to Brind that he suspects Danny Harvey, the drug-addicted nephew of a day centre member. D.S. Roach and Dashwood investigate Maurice Harvey's flat, an old criminal associate, only to discover Danny has overdosed nearby, while his uncle shows little concern.
