Episode Overview
Tony chats with a shopkeeper about graffiti when he spots a commotion between a vendor and a group of young people. The vendor is an acquaintance of Cryer's. Frazer catches Cryer and Lines discussing the ongoing case, while the youths mention seeking compensation. Although the charges are eventually dropped, Frazer is concerned that Cryer may have pressured the youths. Meanwhile, Ramsey and Claire look into a shoplifting incident where the thief discreetly removes her chequebook and credit cards from her bag. She’s reluctant to go to court because her husband is a solicitor and, in a moment of desperation, she attempts to harm herself in her cell. Ramsey doesn't take the situation seriously and leans towards siding with the husband, even trying to persuade Claire to follow suit, but Claire suspects there's more beneath the surface.
