Episode Overview
Tensions rise as prison officers strike, leading to overcrowded holding cells. Roache is frustrated to see a murder suspect mingling with other inmates. In one cell, officers discover prisoners smoking marijuana hidden in a coffee cup. Meanwhile, another inmate reports a rape. Roache's suspect retaliates by attacking him and attempts to escape after tying him up. Melvin allows a Chief Superintendent from the Yard to inspect the records and collator's office, much to Reg's annoyance. It turns out the visit was a ruse to free Roache's suspect. Meanwhile, Ramsey and Yorkie surveil two suspects who switch vehicles, with Yorkie doubting their ability to manage the situation alone while Ramsey still feels capable, believing he's in CID. The suspects are involved in smuggling Peregrine Falcon eggs.
