Episode Overview
D.S. Roach visits a hospital to speak with a young man who has been slashed across the face, marking the fifth incident in a string of “steamer” attacks where knife-wielding teens have targeted diners. Meanwhile, D.C. Dashwood receives a tip about the steamers' upcoming strike, prompting a surge of undercover officers to flood the restaurant. P.C. Edwards feels envious that he and Carver missed out on a free meal courtesy of the Met, but the steamers are apprehended during the operation. Additionally, P.C. Melvin investigates a peculiar odor coming from a junkie-occupied flat, only to discover the body of an elderly man who died of a heart attack, leaving Melvin shocked that he was involved with drugs.
