Title: The Ultimatum Plot: Fan Xian confronts Chancellor Lin regarding the controversy surrounding the name changes for the Spring Imperial Examination. At Chancellor Lin's insistence, Fan Xian accompanies him to the palace for an audience with the Emperor. During their meeting, Chancellor Lin expresses his inability to carry on with his duties and formally asks for his resignation from the position.
