In the dramatic finale of the first season, Melanie and Derwin have a fiery confrontation regarding their engagement. Following their argument, Derwin ends up sleeping with Drew. Meanwhile, Jason faces a wake-up call when he's invited to appear on camera and conduct special interviews for ESPN. Later, Kelly assists Tasha in attracting new clients by employing an unconventional sales approach. In the final moments, Melanie overhears Dionne revealing to Derwin that she knows about his affair with Drew, prompting her to remove her engagement ring before stepping into the elevator and telling him it's finished.
