Regina's absence leads Cedric and Lovita to anticipate a carefree day, but Steve has other plans. Just as tensions rise, Regina arrives with the shocking news of Jordan's sudden death from a heart attack. With the threat of Senior Ditch Day looming, Steve offers Regina a place to stay as she grapples with her loss, while she struggles with the fear of Jordan's family seeking retribution.
