Episode Overview
Steve steps up as a supportive friend, offering Regina a place to stay during her tough times. Meanwhile, Cedric’s Grandma Puddin’ pays a visit and cooks a special soul food dish using a treasured item that Regina’s late husband had left her. Romeo, Bullethead, and Lydia decide to take things into their own hands by stealing Steve's briefcase and demanding ransom after he declines to chaperone their class trip to an amusement park. As Regina grieves and decides to donate her husband Jordan’s wealth to charity, Steve rushes to the will reading to try and change her mind. Lovita, left in charge of Grandma Puddin’ while Cedric is away, grows worried that Puddin' wants Regina for her grandson. Desperate to get his briefcase back, Steve finds himself in a tricky situation.
