Episode Overview
Scientists at Phaeton have successfully engineered a Neo sapien resembling Alice Noretti, a former member of Able Squad who met her demise in battle. They strategically place her on a Terran worker transport, anticipating that she will reintegrate into Marsh's unit, thereby positioning her for an assassination attempt on Winfield, a key figure in the organization. Meanwhile, the budding romance between Marsh and O'Reilly faces challenges with Noretti's unexpected arrival. Marsala begins to suspect Noretti's true nature as a Neo but finds Marsh dismissive of his concerns. As Winfield plans a visit to the Venusian surface to connect with troops, Noretti is poised to strike. However, she grapples with her identity and chooses to embrace her Alice Noretti self, ultimately leading to a fierce confrontation. In the chaos, after being injured by O'Reilly, her e-frame crashes into a canyon wall, resulting in her demise.
