Marsala is taken hostage by ex-members of the Venus resistance, who issue an ultimatum for the expulsion of all Neo sapiens from the planet, regardless of their allegiance to ExoFleet. Determined to save his sister, James Burns, now equipped with prosthetic limbs, undertakes the mission solo. He cunningly blends in with the kidnappers by feigning support for their agenda. As he attempts to rescue Marsala, an attack by Neo sapien rebels disrupts the encampment. Although James successfully frees Marsala, he ultimately sacrifices his own life in the process.
