Episode Overview

Title: All Things Bright and Beautifly! Plot: As Ash, Brock, Max, and May approach Rustboro City, they stop at a nearby Contest Hall. There, they meet seasoned Pokémon Coordinators Janet and Chaz, who introduce them to the world of Pokémon Contests, where finesse and style take precedence over brute strength. Although the group is too late to sign up for the day's contest, Chaz offers to help Pikachu learn the Iron Tail move, while Janet invites May to assist her during the event. Both coordinators shine in the competition, ultimately leading to an impressive final round, where Janet's Beautifly dazzles the audience. Inspired, May resolves to enter a contest in the future.
