Following two consecutive missed punches, Ippo's sparring session comes to an abrupt halt. Meanwhile, Sendo, the crowd's top pick for the upcoming bout, remains focused on his training regimen. Just prior to the fight, Ippo’s lingering fist pain prompts his orthopedic specialist to administer an anesthetic.
