Episode Overview

Makunouchi faces an upgraded Sendo, who delivers a powerful smash that sends him crashing into the ropes, yet he manages to stay on his feet! However, his legs wobble, giving Sendo a chance to enhance his smash. To counter this, Ippo opts for a close-quarters battle to thwart Sendo from unleashing his blow. In this intense exchange, both fighters are evenly matched, and neither can land a decisive hit.
