Episode Overview

In Thailand, Miyata ends up in a draw with a less experienced boxer. The referee's decision is questionable, but the Japanese fighter is not exactly embraced there, becoming a target for local competitors hoping to score easy victories. However, Miyata is determined not to back down and chooses to take on another challenge, despite his father's wishes for him to move up to the lightweight division. For Miyata, that shift feels impossible; he refuses to let anything hinder Ippo's dignity and stands firm against the challenges ahead.
