Episode Overview

In the dead of night, Ben jolts Katz awake, insisting he hears a strange sound. Katz, also alarmed, thinks they might be facing a break-in. They first attempt to intimidate the intruder, joking about the city's gun laws, but quickly abandon that idea, resigning themselves to the situation. They realize the would-be burglar never entered, yet both of them panic, with Katz surprisingly overreacting more than Ben. To feel safer, they install new locks and window bars, while Ben expresses a desire for a hamster. Katz shares with Julie and Stan that a home is robbed every 15 minutes and laments calling 911 only to find he dialed the wrong number. Their banter continues, with Katz suggesting a lower peephole for potential midget burglars, referencing the creepy little villains he’s seen in horror films.
