Episode Overview

McDuff concludes that SBD is a type of hallucinogen. Meanwhile, Bradley compensates Jack for his efforts on Big Tom and offers him the lease for the crutch factory. When Bradley goes to dismiss the infant school teacher, he unexpectedly finds himself smitten and asks her to play the piano at the hall instead. In a different turn of events, Jack's family rejects his job proposal, accusing him of betraying their working-class roots.
