Episode Overview
Morris confronts Matthew regarding his sexuality, and while Matthew admits to it, he insists that he is celibate. Jack confesses his feelings for Charlotte, but she turns him down, expressing that she wishes he were Matthew instead. Isobel reveals her lingering affection for Jack, but Lady Patience advises her against marrying Mountfast. Meanwhile, Austin and Isobel set out to track down rent defaulters, only to be thwarted by Matthew and Charlotte.
