The Kirkwood family from Port Orchard, WA, is about to receive an incredible new home, thanks to their determined eleven-year-old daughter, Jael, and the team from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. A year prior, Jael submitted an application for her family to be featured on the show, but when they didn’t hear back, the Kirkwoods lost hope. Not willing to give up, Jael reached out to Sweet Alice Harris from a past episode for guidance on how to get her family's application noticed. Following Alice's advice, Jael contacted her local mayor, taking the first step toward making her dream a reality.
