In Logan, UT, the Pauni family is about to receive a life-changing makeover. When Janet and Danny moved from Tonga in 1991, their goal was to secure a brighter future and education for their family. Danny was the backbone of their household, so his sudden passing from a heart attack in May 2004 left the family shattered. With no life insurance and the main provider gone, Janet, now a single mother to nine kids, has faced significant emotional and financial hardships. As the design team from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, along with local builders Kartchner Homes and numerous volunteers, revamp their home into a dream space, the Pauni family will enjoy a getaway on a private yacht in the British Virgin Islands.
