S12E17 Thomas Puts the Brakes On
Episode Overview
Thomas is feeling anxious about his brakes, which are making strange sounds. Assigned to transport bricks for the restoration of the Sodor River Bridge, he encounters a rough stretch of track that causes the bricks to tumble from his trucks, unbeknownst to him. As he attempts to slow down on Gordon's hill, he collides with some emergency buffers, causing even more bricks to spill. When he finally reaches the bridge, his brakes fail completely, leaving him precariously perched at the edge. With assistance from Stanley, Rocky, and Murdoch, the bricks are salvaged, and Thomas has his brakes repaired at the yard. He later returns to the bridge to express his gratitude to Stanley for his support.
