Episode Overview

Title: Water in the Desert Plot: Neri insists that Kal promise to stay on the island for good. Meanwhile, Lena employs HELEN to track down another fragment of the Synchronium. Mera visits Neri again, stressing that time is of the essence. The following day, while aboard ORCA, Neri asks Kal to identify the Synchronium's landing site, but he claims he can't. Kal decides to return to the island for a swim to contemplate the issue; however, he visits Dr. Hellegren instead to discuss the new fragment. Hellegren prefers to let the kids uncover it on their own before swooping in for all the pieces. Lena struggles to determine the Synchronium's location, relying heavily on HELEN's capabilities. Just then, an earthquake strikes, and the Commander realizes the extra load on HELEN has made it inaccessible.
