When millions tune in to watch a Marine guard fatally shoot a detained terrorist on live TV, it falls to Harm to defend him. Mac takes the role of prosecutor, and the two find themselves in a fierce legal battle over what appears to be a straightforward case of cold-blooded murder. However, when a civilian lawyer with a questionable defense strategy and ties to a wealthy right-wing magnate, Percival Bertram, steps in for Harm, he becomes suspicious. Determined to uncover the truth, Harm sets out to conduct his own investigation.
