Episode Overview
During the Christmas season, while everyone at JAG is celebrating, Bud and Harriet find themselves at little Sarah's gravesite, unveiling her newly placed headstone. Overcome with grief, Bud vows that her story cannot end this way and is determined to uncover the truth. They approach Mic for help, seeking his representation against Dr. Gettis. However, Mic cautions Bud to reconsider, revealing that he represents Dr. Gettis instead. Harriet urges Bud to abandon the pursuit, but he dismisses her concerns. Despite Bud's desire to lead the case, the Admiral assigns it to Mac. Although Bud is instructed to stay out of it, he can’t help but involve himself. Mac interrogates Dr. Gettis about the delay in his response during Harriet’s labor, to which Dr. Gettis explains that his pager battery had died, and he only realized he was needed after hearing an overhead announcement.
