Episode Overview

Hobbes and Darien are hot on the trail of a sperm thief. A college professor is stealing sperm to extract genes linked to intelligence and insert them into a retrovirus. After an accidental infection, Hobbes starts to experience a significant boost in intelligence. However, they soon learn that the gene therapy has fatal consequences. Bobby reaches a level of smarts sufficient to develop a cure but opts not to, choosing to embrace his newfound intellect even at the cost of his life. In a desperate move, Darien infects himself, forcing Hobbes to create a cure to save his partner.
