Episode Overview

James is preoccupied with tuberculin testing when he receives a call from the Ministry of Agriculture about some puzzling test results. Meanwhile, Siegfried encounters a dog owner who insists on a rigid approach to training his pet. He also faces the grim situation of sheep that are dying, with their owners lacking the resources to intervene. Helen starts a new job as a secretary, which leaves James feeling uncertain, while Siegfried is enthusiastic about her decision. However, Tristan is less pleased when he learns that he must take over Helen's responsibilities. Additionally, Mrs. Hall informs Siegfried that she needs to leave to assist her brother, who is struggling to manage his farm alone.
