Episode Overview

Tristan is smitten with the charming Jane Mercer, and his newfound affection sparks an interest in music when he learns she participates in the choral society. However, Jane's strong personality shines through when she confronts a donkey's owner for his mistreatment of the animal, leaving Tristan feeling embarrassed. Meanwhile, Farmer Biggins perplexes all three of his partners with his odd antics. Known for dodging vet bills, he finally meets his match when Granville Bennett, the region's best small animal vet, tends to his tom cat and successfully convinces Biggins to pay off his overdue account.
