Episode Overview

Bill Shadwell faces a heartbreaking situation when his dairy shorthorn herd is struck by Johne's disease. As he nears retirement, his son is eager to switch to more lucrative Friesian cattle, leading to a clash of opinions with both James and Siegfried drawn into the family's disagreement. Meanwhile, Mr. Grimsdale's bull presents a different issue when Siegfried fears it may have ingested a harmful metal object. However, Grimsdale is reluctant to authorize surgery. Tristan’s newly acquired metal detector might just provide the answer to this challenging problem.
