Paddy's romantic dreams of dancing into the sunset with D'een are derailed when Mimi insists he secure the family's finances with one final job—targeting the drug money of the dangerous Roscoe. Caught between his desire for a fresh start with D'een and his obligations to his family, Patrick turns to his sons for assistance. Meanwhile, Liam is drowning in overwhelming debts and the consequences of his failed gambling attempts. Viewed as a huge disappointment by Frank, he feels cornered and desperate. Jamie, on the other hand, is literally working himself to exhaustion to support the family as Karen struggles to hold everything together.
