Oliver eagerly agrees to let a paint company give the house a new look in exchange for advertising. However, to everyone's astonishment, the wood is so absorbent that it soaks up the paint almost instantly. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Lisa is dedicating three weeks to perfecting her spaghetti and meatballs recipe for Oliver's upcoming birthday celebration.
