The arrival of 'Podger Pam' at G-wing's Lifer's Unit sent shockwaves through the other inmates. Meanwhile, Karen and Helen confronted Simon Stubberfield about Dr. Nicholson’s incompetence, ultimately leading to his dismissal. The two Julies stumbled upon a stray cat scavenging in the prison bins, later discovering it was a female after it gave birth to kittens. Josh faced a challenging start as a trainee probation officer, while Di learned about his relationship with Crystal. Shell continued to torment Jim, who remained fearful of her, and tensions escalated between Jim and Helen when he attempted to assert dominance through a sexual assault.
