Blue Thunder (1984)

Episode Overview

The privately funded Space Shuttle Argo faces a dire threat from a group of arms dealers who are worried that the shuttle's success in gene-splicing experiments in space will jeopardize their bacterial weapon sales. As the shuttle prepares to re-enter orbit, there’s a critical task ahead: the experimental canister must be swiftly transported to a secure lab for analysis within 20 minutes. Only Blue Thunder has the speed to complete this mission, so Apex lends them the helicopter. However, an accident occurs when the chopper’s electronics get fried by power lines near a power plant, all while the team captures two suspects linked to German weaponry.
