After a lengthy flirtation, Jamie and Phoebe's long-awaited date takes an unexpected turn when Phoebe gets a surprising call from Louise regarding Jamie. Meanwhile, Stephanie is fed up with Spencer's frequent bachelor outings and decides to confront him about it. As Alex and Fran try to navigate the aftermath of Phoebe's anger, their friendship becomes strained further when Alex cancels their romantic dinner, opting instead to spend the evening with Binky.
