Sean Hackett discovers an unusual vintage typewriter in his home, previously owned by a writer who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Passionate about crafting short stories, Sean is thrilled to use the typewriter, only to realize that whatever he types becomes real as it is read aloud. At first, everything appears benign, but the situation turns dire when he pens a story for his English class that tragically results in his best friend's death.
