A decade later, CHING has matured into a respectable man, though his kung-fu skills remain modest. The Mongolian Princess WAH TSANG has developed a fondness for him. One day, PRINCE SONG KWAN from the Chun Lit Tribe and his son TO SI arrive at TIT's residence, coinciding with the KAM PRINCE's visit to Mongolia. While TIT entertains the guests, WAH TSANG chooses to stay close to CHING, irritated by TO SI’s infatuation with her. After being mocked as a Han bastard and losing a wrestling match to the envious TO SI, CHING feels humiliated. Meanwhile, the LIE MAN TRIBE, bitter over their exclusion from lordship, declares war on the Kam kingdom. SONG KWAN sends two skilled soldiers for assistance, but they are ambushed and killed.
