Title: The Edwardian Artist's Studio Plot: Kevin McCloud encounters Audrey and Jeff, a couple eager to settle in one of west London's most prestigious neighborhoods. Their unique solution to afford such a luxury involves going underground. Their ambitious project entails converting a historic Edwardian artist's studio and a 5,000 sq ft dilapidated basement into a custom subterranean residence. Their vision includes an expansive kitchen, a mezzanine living area, four en-suite bedrooms, a gym, a cinema, a steam room, and a wine cellar. Complicating matters further, they lack proper architectural plans, and with Audrey spearheading the project, challenges arise almost immediately.
