Episode Overview
Jim is the coach of a hockey team featuring Brandon, Steve, and Dylan. After a practice session, Brandon meets Trisha Kinney, an aspiring figure skater, and the two quickly hit it off. Brandon starts waking up at 5:00 AM to attend her practices. However, after a disappointing performance at her sectional meet, Trisha contemplates quitting. During a date with Brandon, her coach arrives with news of her exemption to compete at nationals but forbids Brandon from attending her practices, claiming he distracts her. Meanwhile, Brenda's boss, Deidre, pushes her to enhance her sales skills. Brenda successfully persuades David to buy a $190 perfume for Donna’s late birthday gift. Deidre, however, takes a substantial commission from Brenda, prompting Cindy to help her devise a plan for revenge.
