Episode Overview
Lily, Joan’s daughter, arrives to be the maid of honor and ends up captivating the best man, Brandon. Meanwhile, Nat, Brandon, and Steve uncover that Lily works as an exotic dancer. Just as Joan and Nat's wedding is set to begin, it gets interrupted when Joan goes into labor. Determined to marry before giving birth, they exchange vows in a hospital hallway. Joan welcomes a son named Frankie. Clare vows never to marry, feeling she couldn’t walk the aisle without her mother, but witnessing Joan and Nat’s love softens her stance on marriage. Kelly forms a friendship with Jimmy, a cheerful hospice resident, while David moves into Mark's upscale home, seeking new video work after being let go by MZA, and declines to assist Donna with wedding filming.
