Episode Overview
Kelly aids Jimmy in treating a bleeding cut, but becomes anxious when she accidentally gets some blood on her hand. The doctor reassures her that she can't contract HIV this way, yet she decides to get tested for AIDS due to her past of unprotected sex. When the results come back negative, Kelly apologizes for distancing herself from Jimmy. Later, the group gathers to watch Jimmy perform a magic act, but afterward, he reveals to Kelly that he only has a few days left to live. Meanwhile, David struggles to confess to his father about dropping out of school, leading Donna to inform Mel instead. Mel then gives David an ultimatum: complete college or lose all financial support. Brandon and Mark bring in a self-assured young woman as their news anchor, but she panics right before the first broadcast. To help, they suggest she have a drink, which leads to her getting drunk. Lastly, Kenny expresses his feelings for Valerie.
