Episode Overview
Blake's optimism is reignited when a crucial witness, Franklin, reveals that Alexis bribed him to change his testimony. However, Franklin shows up to court drunk and can't respond to any inquiries. Frustrated with the inebriated witness, the judge sides with Ben, forcing Blake to give up a quarter of the family estate. Determined to appeal, Blake sets out to find the enigmatic woman who can prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Bart is withdrawn from the senatorial race after headlines expose his sexuality. While Bart feels a sense of relief, Steven is furious and confronts a unrepentant Adam. Bart’s father, Buck, seeks Blake’s counsel. Dex offers Clay Fallmont a position on the pipeline project, but as Blake and Dex go over plans, a bitter former employee creates a dangerous incident.
