Caress is determined to uncover the identity of the woman Ben was with the night his mother passed away, and her investigation leads her to an unsettling discovery when she spots Emily meeting secretly with Ben. Meanwhile, in a bid to secure funds for the leveraged buy-out of Colby Co, Blake makes a risky move by temporarily handing over control of Krystle Holdings to Bob Ashrnore for a $100 million loan. Blake's empire continues to crumble as Bob celebrates their successful takeover by calling Ben. As Ben's scheme to sabotage his brother unfolds, Alexis plans to present forged documents to the Chinese government, falsely accusing Blake of cheating them on royalties from the China Sea leases. Claudia threatens to expose Adam’s power of attorney over Denver-Carrington unless she gets back the title to the oil well that was taken from her.
