Episode Overview
Haunted by guilt for her harsh behavior towards Amanda, Alexis hurriedly heads to La Mirage, where she discovers Amanda unconscious beside an empty barbiturate bottle. Desperate to save her daughter, Alexis forces Amanda to stand and pleads for her forgiveness. At the hospital, Alexis and Blake hover over Amanda, who remains in a coma. In their anguish, they blame each other for their daughter's suicide attempt while vowing to continue their mutual destruction. Meanwhile, Dominique proposes to Garrett, and they start planning their wedding. Steven worries about losing custody of Danny if Sammy Jo marries Clay Fallmont. Caress demands ten percent of Ben's inheritance for her silence about Emily Fallmont, and though Ben agrees, he secretly arranges for her extradition to Caracas. Alexis prepares to call in her billion-dollar loan to Blake to take control of his South China Sea leases, scheduling a meeting with her contact, Kai Liu, unaware of Ben's own plot with Liu.
