Title: The Surrogate (2) Plot: After reading the morning article praising Blake's commitment to conservation, Alexis, following Sean's advice, finds a different angle to the story. She argues that Blake's promise to preserve land comes at the expense of essential job opportunities for the state, aiming to tarnish his public image. Meanwhile, Dana explores the option of a surrogate and arranges a meeting with Karen Atkinson, a potential candidate. Adam's apprehensions fade when he meets Karen, a stunning single mother with two lovely children, igniting jealousy in Dana. Meanwhile, Leslie, eager for more than her current role with Dex, accepts Alexis' job offer. Noticing the tension between Jeff and Fallon, Blake invites them for dinner, but they decline with a cold exchange. Jeff retreats to his study to counter Alexis' scathing article, but ultimately succumbs to Leslie's playful charm and joins her for dinner.
