Episode Overview
Title: The Primary Plot: Feeling overwhelmed by Blake's rapid ascent in pre-election favor, Alexis succumbs to Sean's charm, leading them to a secluded cabin along Mexico's Pacific coast. Captivated by his romantic gestures, she agrees to marry him on a whim, and they celebrate their union in a nearby fishing village. Meanwhile, Sammy Jo tries to forget Josh Harris and focus on her faltering relationship with Steven. Frustrated by Steven's disinterest and work obsession, she succumbs to Josh's fervent advances. Blake meets with Arthur Whitcomb, seeking to dissuade him from selling timberland leases to Alexis, ultimately convincing Whitcomb to reconsider and grant the leases to him. Jeff attends an alien encounter support group but finds it too far-fetched and leaves without Fallon. Before the primary elections, Leslie wishes Jeff luck with a kiss.
