Their inquiries lead them to Khabaly's cousin, Ben Faoud, who seems to have ties to a terrorist group operating in New York. The main lead regarding Faoud involves a recent uranium shipment, but McCoy and Rubirosa are instructed by the federal government to keep this detail under wraps. When details about the uranium emerge, they find themselves under heavy federal scrutiny, and Paul Robinette's vigorous defense of young Faoud complicates the situation further.
